I have known Leah James for nearly 7 years now, and I cannot thank God enough for putting her in my life. Leah and I met my freshman year of college playing softball together at Shelton State CC. We both lived at what we know as "the commons," and we might as well say that we lived together! We moved into our first house together sophomore year. The house (A.K.A. the house w/ 2 front doors) was... well lets just say we had NO problem house training the dogs in it due to the fact that the carpet was already brown! We moved into the "NEW" house in Forest Lake with Delaina our junior year, and it was hands down the nicest house we lived in. We spent our senior year in Forest Lake at another house close by, and Mike & Ed's became a favorite since it was within walking distance. Leah and I have both been through our trials and triumphs, and I am so blessed to have gotten to spend all four years of my college life with her. She was there for me through every heartache, every stressful study time, every tragedy, every celebration, and every obstacle. I can honestly say that no matter where in the world I may be one day that Leah will only be a phone call away. She means the world to me, and the word "thankful" just does not display enough justice. Her family has been my family and mine hers. Our friendship has grown together in Christ and through Christ. And now my sweet Leah is getting married, and I am her maid of honor. What an honor it is... I am blessed beyond words. I know that Leah getting married will not change our friendship, but I know that this marks a new beginning in Leah's life. I pray that she is truly happy in life and that she will always find strength and courage through Jesus.
