I met Rebekah Szwargulski a long time ago in passing through some of our mutual college friends. I remember she was wearing a Cardinals jersey and thinking that girl is wild! Haha. Little did we know that God had much more in store for us than that one meeting... later on we ended up taking our first teaching jobs at Lake View Elementary School together. Our friendship hit it off first thing... while I was the PE teacher wearing Nike & UnderArmour... I couldn't keep high heels and hoop earrings away from Becky! I still don't know how she wears those heels all the time. In just three years we have seen each other through trial & triumph, and we both go through it all together. She met Tyler Fowler at church, and I remember them hitting it off from the get-go. Boy... was he a country boy for that St. Louis girl! Since then, Becky & Tyler have began a relationship that is created by Christ and surrounded by Christ. These two have been my friends for quite some time. I remember before I met Steven when Becky & Tyler would be going out & they'd ask me to come along. I remember thinking-- "I don't want to be the third wheel.." That was never an option for them... I had no choice. They both have seen me through difficult times & I will forever be grateful for their friendship. They also played a HUGE role in mine & Steven's engagement! Becky was the ONLY person Steven told, and she & Tyler were in on it the whole time! After he popped the question, we all had dinner together that night. I couldn't think of any other two people I would want to be apart of it more. Steven and I had the privilege to travel to St. Louis (Becky's home place) this past weekend to watch her & Tyler get married! It was perfect, and I could not be happier for these two friends. I love them both with all my heart, and I wish them all the happiness in the world.
